Wow, that must have hurt...now even Ako-san is holding her arm from the injuries!
Just kidding though, she just got a slight readjustment to her design! Or rather than 'slight', I pretty much just redrew her. I wasn't totally dissatisfied with how she originally looked, but something about keeping her in a 'default pose' felt kinda off for Ako-san, whom always regards herself as different from others... Evidently, I also felt her seifuku's skirt needed a bit more to it, so it now has a similar ribbon motif that's ever-so present in her magical girl outfit. Did her school take notes from the outfit and make a new seifuku for her, or was this always her seifuku and did Bako just use it as a base for her magical outfit? Truly this is a mystery! But yes, the 'tassels' in her magical girl outfit have also been reduced in length, of which I felt at times really obscured parts of her.... Perhaps this makes a joke in the script of her tassels always obscuring her hands outdated! And last, though fairly minor, the eyes no longer completely cover their hair...now you can see the rest of her ridiculous bangs that seem to have grown in length! Truthfully, this is something I've wanted to do for the original sprites as well, so it's nice to have figured out a fairly easy fix. So all the other character sprites will be readjusted accordingly! Whether they'll be completely redrawn or not...well, that's something only the wind can decide.
