Marchosias Masquerade

The demon was not summoned. They've been here the whole time. Bleeding into the soil of the ground to plant the seeds for their inevitable birth. This cannot be stopped. It cannot even be observed. Courteous as always, demons gift us the privilege of appreciating approximations of their abstract appearances.  They are Real to the world of the Vajra. But to enter the Womb, they must don on the mask of the Fake.

The demon is not a liar.  The mask they take on is transparently thin. You can see right through it and witness the patchwork of histories, cultures, knowledge, chronologies, religions, and childhoods they represent... Don't let the stitches fool you. They're all the same thing, separated in vain by the Eye... 

In the Masquerade, everyone becomes Her.

Content Warnings

The Masquerade isn't visually explicit in its subject matter, since although it deals with murder and all the psychosexual tones inherent to the genre of murder mystery (and my own writing!), anything graphic is represented approximately rather than directly (such as mannequins standing in for bodies). 

Minor/implied spoilers: there are major themes of groomin, emotional ncest, religious psychosis, mutilation, dysphoria, necrophagy, and dolls. Shinto/Buddhist/Christian motifs throughout. So basically the standard for everything Venux.
